Dr. Rob Cookson B.D.S.
(Lond.) L.D.S.R.C.S (Eng.) (GDC No. 55566)
Rob qualified from Guy’s hospital in 1982 and acquired the Meadow Walk Dental Practice in 1987. His main professional interests are cosmetic and functional restoration of teeth using crowns, bridges, veneers and implants. Outside of work Rob trained in hypnotherapy at Birmingham City Hospital and is a member of the British Society of Medical and Dental Hypnosis. He loves cars and new gadgets as well as an interest in cuisine from around the world!
Dr. Elizabeth Hellen Nichols B.D.S. (GDC No. 60716)
Hellen qualified from the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Sheffield in 1985 and initially worked in the Community Dental Service mainly treating children. She has since enjoyed working at Meadow Walk Dental Practice for 20 years. Hellen is married and busy looking after her three sons.
Dr. Nick Downes B.D.S., B.Sc. (GDC No. 85625)
Nick graduated in 2000 with 1st class honours in BSC Microbiology and Virology from Warwick University. He then went on to study dentistry at Sheffield University graduating with honours in 2005. Nick is married and has a keen interest in cycling and running but having a baby sometimes struggles to find the energy.

Simon qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1987 and on completion of specialist training, received his accreditation as a Specialist Oral Surgeon in 1999. He currently works at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury and visits the practice twice a month to carry out minor oral surgery and implant surgery for our patients. He is married with a daughter and two sons and is a superbike enthusiast.
